The word “Sustainability” is a
combination of “sustain” and “ability”. It is the property of biological
systems to remain diverse and productive indefinitely. Long-lived and healthy
wetlands and forests are the examples of sustainable biological
systems.
Sustainability can be defined as the
study of how natural systems function, remain diverse and produce everything it
needs for the ecology to remain in balance. It also acknowledges that human
