Music workshop with Ramana Gogula in Vizag


Music workshop by Ramana Gogula-a well known name in music industry, on 23rd and 24th of February 2013 at Oakridge International School, Visakhapatnam.

2nd February 2013, Visakhapatnam: Music heals every pain and frees the soul from hardships of life. Music therapy is getting appreciation all over the world and this could be the main reason for it. Music go hand in hand with all the living things from our heart beat to the flowing of water.  Imagine a situation where you can play your own music for refreshment and relaxation and that too under the guidance of an iconic musician. Just imagine!

Oakridge- India’s largest International School, announces a music workshop on 23rd and 24th February for children under the age group of 6-16. The workshop will be held in Oakridge International School Visakhapatnam. Children who have some basic understanding about music are eligible for this workshop.
The workshop will be conducted by famous music director in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada music industry Mr. Ramana Gogula.

Lt. Col. (Retd.)YHVS Prasad, principal of Oakridge Visakhapatnam campus, says, “We are organizing our Weekend voyager program to introduce our children to world of art and technology through various workshops. Music is one thing that brings all people together no matter from which ever background they come from. Keeping this idea in mind we planned a workshop on music to carry forward the thought of togetherness among our students and just experience the world of tune. I hope this is going to be a soulful memory for our students. Other than a magnificent experience, the participants will be creating a music album under the guidance of Ramana Gogula at conclusion of the workshop.”  



Ramana Gogula: Ramana Gogula is one of the key names when it comes to music. He is considered as a trend setter who brought out a drastic change in the conventional style of Telugu music through his movies like “Thammudu, Badri, Johnny, Premante Idera and Yuvaraju.” At the age of 17 he made his own rock and roll music band in Vizag. Though he is passionate in music he also software professional and Co- founder and former CEO of a Bangalore based company Liqwid Krystal. Apart from Telugu music industry, he created magic through his music in Tamil and Kannada industry.
